Go Gophers. Me? Go study.

It’s the weekend, tons of football and naturally I’m hitting the books. But the Gophers are hitting Penn State with more then yellow highlighter pens. they crushed them. while studying at the Club, I managed to prep for my second Anthropology midterm and still enjoy the game.

Rah, rah, rah for Ski-u-mah!

Today I worked on my history question paper for European History. I believe I posted the question I came up with earlier, but to remind you (and me), it is: What role did samizdat “self-published” underground publications play in the aftermath of the Prague Spring? The Prague Spring was an attempt at human rights reform in Czechoslovakia that was repressed by the Soviets and the Warsaw Pact nations on August 20-21 1968.

I’ve got the books. I’ve got the notes. I’ve got the monitors. All I need is the argument.

I strongly suggest you drop this question into your next dinner party conversation. you might not get an answer but I can guarantee you will be left alone. The paper is to be 6 – 8 pages long and counts for 35% of my grade. I spent four and a half hours today working on this paper and was rewarded with one page of text. And I hate what I’ve written.

So it goes. Right now, I’m done for the evening and going to watch the Vikings hopefully stomp on the Cowboys.

More later. Yip Yip.
